>>>hello all
>>>which traction motors (motor type) have the following ASEA locos:
>>>ex-OeBB 1043 (units 006 – 010)
>>>RAI (Iran) 40-700
>>>SJ Rm
>>>SJ x2000
>>>Thanks / regards
Except for X2, they all have motors of the ASEA 108 type.
Diode locos, i.e. Rb, El 15, JZ 441, have motors of the LJE type with series field windings and solid commutation poles.
Phase angle controlled locos have motors of the LJH type with separate exited field and laminated commutation poles.
All LJE types are very similar; the difference is by the air ducts in the shields and thus the rating. Originally LJE 108 was fond on Rb1, LJE 108-1 on El 15 and LJE 108-2 on JZ 441.
On Rc- locos motors of the types LJH 108, 108-2 and 108-6 are found. They are all equivalent and have the same rotors as all LJE 108 types.
Oebb 1043. 6 to 10 use LJH 108-1 with a somewhat different winding. The motor dimensions are the same as for LJH 108.
LJH 108-3, -4 is a bigger motor with a broader iron core.

>>ÖBB 1043 = LJH108 (Same as Rc2)
>>Rm = LJH108

>JZ 441 (HZ 1141) also has LJH 108; and Koncar units has Koncar ISVK 644-8
